In 2000 Bulla Dairy Foods embarked on the largest manufacturing expansion in the history of the company. A Greenfields site was planned for construction in Colac to manufacture their range of cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, and yoghurt products.

Qanstruct constructed a new 6,400 m2 building on the Forest Street site in 2001, during which time Metromotion completed the process and packaging design. The plant fit out was conducted during 2002, and fully operational by the start of 2003. The plant was delivered on time, under budget, while maintaining continuity of supply to Bulla customers.

Metromotion and Bulla Dairy Foods were highly commended by Engineers Australia, Aus Industry, and the Victorian Government for the project design and execution.
